NEW YORK--With today's continued efforts towards businesses going green, today's effective manager must be a sustainability manager. Managing people, financial, physical resources, as well as being aware of environmental impact can be a daunting task.
In order to train the next generation of managers in responsible and environmentally friendly practices, Columbia University
now offers a Master of Science in Sustainability Management.The Master of Science in Sustainability Management is ideal for professionals in the New York metropolitan area currently working on issues of facilities management, regulatory compliance, operations, and environmental stewardship.
The degree is co-sponsored by the Earth Institute and the School of Continuing Education at Columbia University.
The two will host an information session on Feb. 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the Faculty House at Columbia University. Registration is required to attend and the session will feature presentations by program directors and faculty members. Prospective students will be informed of admission requirements, application procedures, and be given an opportunity for Q&A.
