KINGSTON--ScheinMedia announces scholarships for New York State Real Estate Professionals from the New York State Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). The scholarships for EcoBroker training are available to all New York real estate licensees on a first come, first serve basis.
EcoBroker offers education and tools to real estate professionals that help consumers take advantage of energy efficiency and environmentally sensitive design in real estate properties. Through EcoBroker's innovative energy and environmental curriculum, real estate professionals acquire the knowledge and resources to become Certified EcoBrokers and Ecosociates. These real estate professionals assist clients in their pursuit of properties that provide affordability, comfort and a healthier environment (reducing carbon footprints).
Currently, EcoBroker is offering $295 off its green professional designation. NYSERDA, the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority and EcoBroker International have teamed up to provide a three-course 18-hour program for $100. The program is approved for 10 hours of New York State real estate professional continuing education. This program is designed to teach participants how to build their business and make more commissions in 2011 by serving the "green" real estate consumer. Participants can work at their own pace in an interactive online course with six months to finish.
NYSERDA is providing a limited number of stipends for New York real estate professionals, so the offer is limited. Participants can enroll today at www.ecobroker.com and put the word NYSERDA in the promotional code on the enrollment page, and after paying $100 for the EcoBroker New York-approved continuing education classes, they will receive marketing materials, branding and Web presence, consumer advocacy and outreach opportunities, and other benefits of the EcoBroker green designation.
Additionally, as a completely complimentary opportunity, participants will also receive access to EcoBroker's new course on the Energy Conservation Code of New York State (ECCC NYS-2010). This course, designed by and for real estate professionals, is for those professionals who want to make sense of what the new NY Energy Conservation Construction Codes mean and how to use them to build more business and more networks in the Empire State.
"This is a tremendous opportunity for New York State real estate professionals to build business and truly develop their green real estate careers in support of New York consumers," says Dr. John Beldock, CEO of EcoBroker International.
